Two vacancies have arisen for a Staff SSC Member; one teaching member and one non-teaching member. The SSC would welcome expressions of interest for the positions from any eligible staff member.

An Expression of Interest form, together with a Handbook explaining the role and responsibilities and expectations of an SSC Member is available on request to the school (these can be e-mailed, posted or collected from Reception).

Expressions of Interest should be submitted via email to [email protected] by 4pm on Friday 13th September 2024.

The 果冻影院 and each Avanti School is supported by School Stakeholder Committees (SSCs). The purpose of the SSCs is to work with the School Principal to ensure that the school is offering the best possible education for its children in a way that supports the Values, Vision and Ethos of the Trust.

The key requirement of an SSC Member is a genuine interest in the learning, development and enhancement of the life chances of our young people with the best interests of our children at heart. With this in mind, SSC Members are encouraged to be the 鈥渃ritical friend鈥� of the school Executive Principal and Leadership Team 鈥� to challenge them 鈥� knowledgeably and in the appropriate way 鈥� to seek assurances around school standards, provision and performance.

The SSC members work together to support the Principal and senior leadership team in achieving what is best for the pupils. Each member brings with them a depth of knowledge from their own professional and personal lives which contributes to the growth of the school.
