What a fantastic day Sports Day was!
This year, Key Stage 2&3 came together on the park for a day of sport and fun!
Years 3&4聽聽enjoyed competing in the obstacle race, a sprint (50m), distance run and vortex throw. Year 5&6, a sprint, a distance run of approximately 300m, a vortex throw and a standing jump. There were some fantastic Athletes both on track and field and everyone gave their all! The community spirit was clear to hear and children cheered on their peers alike. The parents race was popular in both sports sessions and staff even sported some dads limbering up 2 hours before their race!
The highlight was the 鈥渢ug of war鈥� between staff and parents at the end. The children鈥檚 faces were full of joy and laughter, especially when the parents reigned supreme and a number of staff ended up tumbling!
What a brilliant day of celebration and sport!
